1.03ct Australian Sapphire, Teal - Emerald Cut

1.03ct Australian Sapphire, Teal - Emerald Cut
A pretty, delicate, teal coloured emerald cut sapphire from Queensland. This is a rare pale teal colour and slightly colour changes from blue teal outdoors to green teal indoors, but this does depend on the lightsource and direction. We had a lot of trouble photographing this sapphire and will need to spend some more time with it. Check out the video as its a little better at showing the lovely teal blue reflections from the rear facets, but once again its not the best so we'll endeavour to improve upon them in the near future. If this sapphire interests you and this is still written here, the photos have not been updated, please contact us and we'll try to send you some better photos asap.
Sapphires are the second hardest natural gemstone after diamond. Hardness is very important if the piece is to be worn daily, as in the case with an engagement ring. Sapphires are one of the few gemstones suitable for this purpose and Australian sapphires are some of the worlds best. If this sapphire is not exactly what you are after or if you have other requests please contact us as we have a vast collection and a wonderful group of miners who toil day in day our looking for more of these enchanting and enduring crystals.

A thoughtful way to start the next chapter of your lives together.
