1.36ct Australian Parti Sapphire Teal Blue Green - Oval
Sapphires this colour and clarity dont come up very often. The teal colour in this sapphire actually shifts from a green teal to a blue teal depending on the light source. Indoors its more of a green, outdoors more blue. Thanks in part to the excellent local cutting this mixes to create a lovely teal that moves around in the stone. No heat treatment with some perfect tiny zircon crystals viewable under high magnification that confirm is hasnt had heat treatment. Size wise it couldnt be better as an engagement ring mainstone. Whether set as a solitaire in a delicate design or with extra diamonds it will really stand out against the crowd. If you're looking for an heirloom quality sapphire this could be it.
