Our Arber collection is unique, featuring lovely hand-cut Australian sapphire "leaves", set in hand-made, high-carat gold settings. We've designed this collection to be comfortable with a low profile, classic, organic style, perfect for daily wear. This piece has the extra addition of a faceted Australian sapphire, adding a little sparkle.

This collection has been named after the wonderful Agnes Arber, a pioneering botanist and philosopher. Born in 1879 and initially mentored by Ethel Sargant, she conducted early research at University College London and later worked at the Balfour Laboratory, Cambridge. Arber delved into plant morphology, publishing significant works like "Water Plants" and "The Monocotyledons." Despite facing gender bias, she excelled in her field, becoming the first woman botanist elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1946. Her impactful book, "The Natural Philosophy of Plant Form" (1950), explored plant morphology philosophy. Arber's distinguished career earned her the Gold Medal of the Linnean Society in 1948.

Please note the pendant comes with a complimentary gold-plated "display chain". This chain may be suitable for short-term wear. However, it's really just for presentation for customers who are planning on using their own chain. If you do not have a suitable chain, we highly recommend adding one of our high-quality gold chains to your order.

In the images provided, the pendant is hanging on our 1.3mm 18k gold cable chain.

These guys are amazing at what they do. They created my beautiful engagement ring, as well as both of our wedding rings. We appreciate the stories behind all of the gems that they use and the hard work they put into all their creations. They are clearly passionate about what they do and I recommend them very highly.

Kept me updated every step of the way, never got annoyed with me with the extreme amount of email I sent and questions I asked. Jess adores the ring and I could not be happier. Thank you again Ben and Utopian Creations
