A sparkly Horizon of Australian Argyle Diamonds with an amazing blue, green, teal parti Australian Sapphire. This sapphire is from Rubyvale, Queensland, faceted in Australia.
The Australian Argyle diamond mine closed in November 2020. The Argyle mine was run using ethical principles so it benefited the original land owners, creating skills, employment and badly needed services to the remote area. Currently, the mine site is being rehabilitated. In 2023, much of the mining infrastructure was removed, and huge earthworks and plantings will continue well into the future.
The Argyle diamonds featured in this ring are some of the last available and mark an incredible piece of Australian history. The perfect piece to hand down through generations.
